A Study in The Word 'Love'—self-love to relationship
Among many other feelings, Love has a peculiar character. Still, it's hard to define it, it changes from one to other.
There is both a philosophical and scientific approach to love. I usually get bored when scientists relate love with hormones and some sophisticated biological terms. Philosophy is better, there is romance, fantasy and something sappy.
We could love anything in this world, there are a lot out there. I've been a fan of the philosophical idea that,
"True Love is Unconditional and Everlasting"
I always wanted to love like this, without no conditions, responsibilities and fake dramas. Nowadays it's all a drama. When the love ends, we need to act like still, it's there between somewhere.
Love's not just about being in a relationship with a person. It's a very narrow concept. Love is infinite, we can love the rain, sky, nature. I love nights. It makes me happy and also gives relief from the boring days. The nights are beautiful, there is something magical about it. Hot afternoons usually makes me think that there is nothing interesting or mysterious in this world, then night comes to prove me wrong.
Another interesting kind is self-love, I don't have a clear cut idea to put here. I wanted to love myself like I love the nights and the others. But I'm not that much successful to that. I've heard a lot of people saying that, it's the answer to most of our anxieties and doubts.
Maybe it will an answer to something. When I researched on this topic, there were a lot of ideas put on the internet by lots of people. Most of them felt like a fake, but somewhere in the middle, I got some small ideas.
One I gave a lot of attention is the idea of adapting the characters of the people we love from outside. It was cool, there was an interesting explanation for why we don't like ourselves. It's just simply because we have a lot of characters we don't like. We regret that and hate ourselves.
The way to deal with is just simply changing those characters we don't like, it would take some real effort. But it will be worth it, I think we all need to begin with self-love before starting to spread that love inside us to others. So there will be clarification for everything happening.
