NASA on The Discovery of a Parallel Universe : An Upside-Down Universe
A parallel universe created by the same big bang as ours. Time runs backwards in this universe, maybe they have already experienced the pandemic and recovered.

It was in 2006 ANITA come across the presence of some high energy particle, which was against the laws of physics. At first, it was considered as a technical default of ANITA.
But this again happened in 2014, So it's then analysing it they found out that it was not from the outer space. It was coming out of the earth itself.
In the words of Peter Gorham, the physicist who led the research,
"It was as if the cosmic ray had come out of the ice itself. A very strange thing. So we published a paper on that, we just suggested that this was in pretty strong tension with the standard model of physics.
The phenomenon could be an indication of some new type of physics, what we call beyond the standard model of physics."
He shared this on the interview with UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII
The peculiar character of this high energy particle led to an extreme assumption that it was from an upside-down universe which was created on the same big bang as ours.
As mentioned it's an upside-down universe everything is just opposite in that universe. Time travels in the opposite direction. So just outside of our thought process.
You can build a lot of thoughts from this point about the mysterious parallel universe and it's connection with ours.
Now there are a lot of articles on the internet which supports the idea of this parallel universe and also the ones who oppose it.
The idea of this Parallel Universe is a thing still hard to believe. Maybe it's another technical default.

As always, fiction has already travelled far than the science to explain it. There are a lot of popular movies and tv shows with a multiverse as the central plot. The acceptance of this shows can be taken as the people's interest in it.
Whatever the results the scientists are gonna came up with we could hope for a multiverse and all those madness came with it.
