The Freedom to Dream

When I just look around me I can find a pattern in everything. Most people are all the same, they act like a pre-programmed computer. Living inside these if-else loops, like "if you turn this certain age, you do this", "else choose this one". Nobody is trying to get out the loop, always returning to the beginning and entering the loop again.

If we divide a common man's life into tiny pieces according to time, the first few years stay home and learn to walk and talk. Then the 20 years of going through the boring educational system, then a job, marriage, taking care of kids, retirement and death. All this magical thing called "life" came to an end.

I'm not saying these are not important, but these are not only the important ones. Life is something more than all these, maybe this loop is the reason we are all the same and depressed on small things.

The biggest lie everyone hears in some part of their life is "You are a free man and you could do whatever you want".

It's the biggest lie I've ever heard. Physically we may look free, but inside we are just locked inside the loop of thoughts. We may think our choices are just pure, but all those are the output of the data we have feed inside from the society. We can't think out of the information we don't have.

This begins with the social behavioural rules that our parents teach us when we were kids, we start to believe it without even asking the questions. Eventually, this will become some kind of huge effect on us while making decisions.

"Reading Books will make you a great person."

"The only source of knowledge experiences "

I think everyone has heard this kind of some sayings as we grew up. Most of us just forget the reality and just stick to this like some kind of mantra. Blindly following something is always a problem, even if it's something great.

When people think about reading books they think that reading any book will lead them to enlightenment. The fact is there are also bad books, I have seen a lot of stupid self-help books these days. So when we say the book it's needed to be a good book. A good book is the one with some right thoughts and a great collection of information.

In the end, it's just about good information. It's not only books which give bright ideas and thoughts. There is movies, podcasts, blog posts and everything. I've seen people who read a lot and still stupid.

In the case of experience, there is also some foolish myths. Not everything could be learned from experience, cause some mistakes won't give us a second chance. So it's better to learn from the life of people who have gone through that path before us. What if we could collect information and then prepare of whatever comes next.

I'm not saying all these are just completely untrue. What I am trying to say is if we could question all the beliefs we are sticking into and modify them according to the reality then there will be great outputs. Otherwise, we all are just the same.

We need to have unique ideas and dreams, so for that, we need the right beliefs. Modifying the one we have by ourselves will be the easiest way.

I've shared some of my thoughts if you have some kind of beliefs you were stick on to and finally changed, share it on the comments.
