The Little Things—Journey of Ignorance

Nothing excites us anymore, we think we have learned about the whole world through the digital screen in front of us. Stories of success, fame and extreme pleasure gave us enough to ignore the boring reality happening in front of us.

Those little things happening around is completely ignored, they feel like some kind of bug to our dream world. The world where everything is under a price tag. Health, relationships—everything is unimportant. We need a million-dollar success tip.

That's what we are searching from everyone around us, we need someone who will be helpful to fulfil our desires. The one with less money and power will seem little for us. Little one's wh9om are just unimportant like any other bug.

I remember an interview of Warren Buffet, where everyone was eagerly waiting for a magic spell to slip out of Buffer's mouth to be successful in Stock Market. He didn't have anything like that for the listeners, he just told the truth—There isn't a shortcut, everything comes from learning, learning from our own failures and other failures.

After that talk he said something interesting, he said that it's the investing time on ourselves is the biggest investment. It is about educating ourselves with information and equipping ourselves. He talked about the importance of having good communication skill, that a great investment.

I think most people ignore this part, it's not a shortcut to success—so why they have to listen. We need a big change in a day or even an hour. It's not just Warren, I've heard a lot of greatest personalities talking about things like the value of love, care and friendship etc. But we are looking at the fame and wealth they have got.

These little things we ignore will be the one's which will direct us towards the greater dimensions of life. Everything starts at taking these little steps.

They are the base of all our journey, it will be there to support us even if we fell down from the top. That's why so-called legends came back after taking real hits. The base makes the fall less painful.

"Life's not about how hard of a hit you can give... it's about how many you can take, and still keep moving forward."
