THE WAR AGAINST ART—the way of thinking

The search for the meaning of our existence, that leads us into indifferent paths. Ultimately in everything we see, we search for a meaning or an idea to improve our life.

Art and science are the most important things that help us in reaching some kind of assumptions on the meaning of our existence. You can choose between any of the paths. I think we need both for the completeness.

Treating them both, in the same way, ends up with some real problems. There is a tendency to treat Art in the same way as science.

Science is the thing that brought us towards this great evolution, but if you try to perceive art with the same scientific mindset, you will leading in a wrong path.

I've seen people who read a few lines of a poem and heading to Google search bar to know what the poet meant by those lines. There will not be any poet's explanation to that, they leave it unsaid.

On the internet, you could find several meanings for the poem by people who just made surgery on the poem, finally putting out what's travelling through their little head.

We grew up like that, everyone taught us to find the answer and byheart it. We don't think for ourselves. Some old man has already done that. This is also slavery, there is no other slavery worse than this.

Art isn't a thing which has a certain answer for a question, it's free from definitions and theories. The meaning of art is all about the reader's or viewer's mindset.

Everyone has their own way of perceiving the world, that differs from the situations they came from.

For a lover, a red may be the symbol of love, at the same time for a murderer its blood. There is no one to instruct you to perceive that in the same way.

You could be both sad and glad after seeing a painting on different occasions, or-any other piece of art. It's all about what's happening inside you.

No poet or painter or any creator never say to see it as what they meant. When it's out, it's all ours.

There were days I googled about what to write, searching for ideas, ends up finding nothing. It began to change after spending some time alone and looking at what's happening inside my head.

Can You Remember Who You Were, Before the World Told You Who You Should Be?
